How and Why We Play (Games!)
My “How to Play” book was created through research, iteration, and execution of design ideas while pursuing my thesis project AXIS.
This project challenged me to conceptually understand what players bring with themselves to a game, what systems and structures a game provides to the player, and how these intrinsic interactions create a game experience.
